The Visitors’ Center is open to the public and offers a peaceful place to learn about Jesus Christ and the purpose of temples. Enjoy the lush gardens on the temple grounds, then come inside to explore and reflect.
Admission is always free, and the Visitors’ Center is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Missionaries are available to welcome guests and help answer questions.

There is no distribution center on site at the Portland Oregon Temple. The official temple page directs visitors to Deseret Book in Lake Oswego for temple clothing and related materials.

The Portland Oregon Temple is a sacred house of the Lord for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is a place of worship, covenant devotion, and peace.
Temple clothing rental is available, baptistry clothing is provided at no cost, and a visitors’ center is on site and open to the public. For additional help or special circumstances, guests are encouraged to contact the temple directly.
